Beginning this summer, current Connecticut College Head Coach Dave Cornell will offer both private lessons and video game reviews. Cornell, a former 2x All-Ameican midfielder at Gettysburg College, will provide both skill and film sessions to help students take their game to the next level. Students will have the ability to work with Coach Cornell on an individual basis or in small groups. Students will also have the option of having their on field instruction filmed and critiqued by Coach Cornell. Students will then get the opportunity to analyze the film with Coach Cornell for the optimum learning experience.
Also being offered by Atlantic Elite is game film review. This feature will allow your game film to be personally broken down and edited by Coach Cornell using advanced sports editing systems. Students will then have a wonderful opportunity to watch the film with Coach Cornell where they can go over the video together in a comfortable and enhanced teaching environment.
Besides his playing career at Gettysburg, where he was a four year starter, Cornell was also the Offensive Coordinator at Gettysburg from 1998 - 2000 before taking over the helm as Defensvie Coordinator & Goalie Coach in 2001 when the Bullets reached the National Championship for the first time in school history. Following a stint as the Head Coach at Muhlenberg College from 2002-2004, Cornell joined the coaching staff at perennial Division I power Notre Dame for the 2005 and '06 seasons as a Defensive & Face-off Coach where Cornell helped guide the Fighting Irish to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2001. Cornell has coached numerous collegiate All-Americans, several NCAA Players-of-the Year and has twice been a featured speaker at the US Lacrosse National Coaches Convention.
